The HTW Hochtemperatur-Werkstoffe GmbH was founded in 1989 by Dr. Rainer Dübgen. The Company emanated from the division Glassy Carbon of the SGL CARBON GROUP (former SIGRI ELEKTROGRAPHIT GmbH) in which Dr. Dübgen was employed from 1981 to 1989.
